Follow-up insight
A grounded product that adds a different angle without repeating the others.
Most restoration projects end when the last coat of wax is applied and the scaffolding comes down. But timber beams and hand-carved cornices keep moving — wood breathes, joints settle, and old buildings respond to seasonal changes. This package exists for owners who want the work to stay sound long after the craftsmen have left.
We set up a scheduled inspection cycle tailored to the building's age, exposure, and the materials we treated. Each visit covers joint movement, surface condition, and the integrity of the protective finish. When something needs attention, we document it clearly and give you a plain-language recommendation — no pressure, no unnecessary intervention.
This is not a maintenance subscription in the modern sense. It is a continuation of the same craft standards used during the original restoration, applied at intervals that make sense for heritage timber.
The package is available for properties we have restored or treated within the past three years. It can also be arranged for buildings previously maintained by other workshops, provided we conduct a full baseline assessment first.
