Atelier Correspondence

Request a Timber Assessment

Describe the beams, cornices, or millwork you need examined. Include the building's approximate age, the wood species if known, and whether the damage is structural or cosmetic. We reply within two working days with a proposed site visit.

For urgent structural concerns, mention the extent of visible sagging or cracking in your message.

Photographs are not required at this stage, but a rough room dimension helps us prepare the right tools.

We serve heritage estates, private libraries, and municipal buildings across the region.

Complex technical questions about timber conservation methods may take a little longer — we prefer a thorough answer over a quick one.

Common Questions

Many clients ask about the difference between cold-pressed wax and modern sealants, or how we match new oak to aged timber. You will find detailed answers in our FAQ section.
